We went on an adventure!

This month we took an adventure down to Devon after being contacted by well-known sempervivum cultivator Sue Thomas!

Anyone who is into their sempervivum enough, will have heard that Sue has bred 100s of different named varieties of sempervivum and is a legend in the field. The 18hrs+ of driving accumulated for the visit was worth every second...

Both Sue and her husband Ray gave us what we could only call a masterclass in sempervivum, having answers for all of our tricky questions, and telling us what silly things we had been doing wrong! It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with them both, and we left with our minds buzzing with new ideas, and a tray full of new exclusive varieties for us to carry on.

We look forward to implementing our updated techniques and sharing these new varieties with everyone over the next season, in our mission to keep providing sempervivum that we are proud of sharing.

We look forward to the next Devon road trip soon!

Check out our socials to find a video reel we put together of our trip highlights
