About Us

How it all begun

This business started like most, as a hobby and a love of gardening.

Back in 2010, I begun selling plants at the end of my driveway as I had a few spare. My husband even made me a little stand and sign to get me going. I was overwhelmed by the local support and interest. So much so that by the end of the summer I had three small greenhouses full and I still couldn't keep up with the demand!

We moved house that summer and I had to stop selling plants all together as I simply didn't have the time, and it stayed that way for a few years! Fast forward to 2018, and we moved into Greenacre. Finally with some more room to grow my beloved sempervivum

Now, having settled in and after convincing my husband to build a few more stands, I have moved with the times and begun selling succulents online

This is why, I have put together Greenacre Plants, supported by my husband, two daughters, and cocker spaniels 'Callie' and 'Bonnie'. I hope to provide high-quality plants that have been cared for and looked after from chick to hen.

I hope your sempervivum journey is as enjoyable as mine!

Doing our bit for the environment

In times where we need to do all we can to minimise our environmental impact, we are trying to reduce use of non-recyclable materials where possible.

We are now changing over to pots which are fully recyclable, and made from recycled materials.

Currently we operate at ~85% recyclable or plastic-free.
